Are you trying to hire crew? Then you need services agreements drafted. Are you a producer with a great script? Have you gotten an assignment of copyright from the writer? Love that poster of Bob Marley in the background of that pivotal scene that your production designer picked out? Have you gotten permission to use it from BOTH Mr. Marley's estate AND the company that produces the poster? Is that music in the background of your doc covered by fair use? Are you a member of a writing team without a written collaboration agreement? Do you know the ins and outs of Reg D federal securities laws when financing your shorts? A production attorney should ALWAYS be your first phonecall and on your team from the first day anybody other than you knows about your project. We're insurance - better to pay $1 today than $5 when it all goes to hell. Contact us before thinga get hinky.  less
