Trying to pick the right camera for what's coming up next. Either the Canon XL2 or the old Panasonic AG-DVX100B. Read a lot about both of them. Seems that the Canon XL2 does true 16X9 while the Panasonic doesn't. However, the Panasonic does have letterbox filming mode, but can't seem to get a straight answer about using it in that mode. Anybody have any suggestions or comments on a good independent film making camera. Also, price is something to be factored in.
