    Call for submissions: June 17, 2015 - July 31, 2015



    CineAid strives in their community work to entertain, educate, and inform through film. The first annual CineAid Film Festival is an extension of their desire to share unique world views and perspectives through the power of film. They welcome films from a variety of genres, cultures, languages, and viewpoints, and hope to make the CineAid Film Festival an annual event in Austin, Texas, that shares worldwide issues of pressing importance with the greater Austin community.



    Categories:

    - Short Film: Movies under 20 minutes qualify for the short film category.

    - Feature Film: Movies over 60 minutes qualify for the feature film category.

    - Accepts documentary (non-fiction) and narrative (fiction) films for both the short and feature film categories.



    Dates:

    - Call for submissions: June 17, 2015 - July 31, 2015

    - Festival programming schedule announced: August 17, 2015

    - CineAid Film Festival Dates: September 18 to September 20, 2015

    - The CineAid Film Festival will be held in beautiful downtown Austin, Texas.



    Prizes:

    - Best Short: $100 plus Award Trophy

    - Runner Up Best Short: $50 plus Award Trophy

    - Best Feature: $200 plus Award Trophy

    - Runner Up Best Feature: $100 plus Award Trophy

    - Each prize will have two awardees: separate winners for narrative & documentary.
